Alan Dean Foster is the prolific author behind such original work as the Humanx Commonwealth and Spellsinger series and whole host of other original works. In addition to his own work, he has also written numerous movie novelizations, ranging from Alien to Transformers; as well as the original Star Wars. He also wrote the first Star Wars sequel novel with Splinter of the Mind’s Eye, and he has written much more within the realm of Star Wars since.
