The 71st BAFTA award nominations were announced today and The Last Jedi made a showing, with shouts in the Sound and Special Visual Effects categories.

Director Rian Johnson tipped his hat to the visual effects team.


Great to see our beloved saga nominated as awards season begins to accelerate towards the Oscars. Fingers crossed it comes good and grabs a win in one or both of two very hotly contested categories.
