Super news came early this week, not only that Russian Doll creator Leslye Headland and 1917 writer Krysty Wilson-Cairns are joining the GFFA, but Oscar nominated writer and director Taika Waititi is helming a Star Wars film, and The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson tweeted his thoughts on that announcement.

Still no news on Johnson’s future involvement in Star Wars, especially after his stellar success with Knives Out and work on its sequel. The Star Wars galaxy has multiple films and TV series on the go, so there’s plenty of room at the table.
