Little information is out there other than Monkey Island, the much-loved Lucasarts series from Ron Gilbert that kicked off in 1990 with The Secret of Monkey Island and continued through Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge in 1991, The Curse of Monkey Island in 1997, Escape from Monkey Island in 2000 and Tales of Monkey Island in 2009 is returning via Gilbert, Lucasfilm Games, Terrible Toybox and publisher Devolver Digital in the form of Return to Monkey Island. Dave Grossman is back as co-writer as is Michael Land who returns to score the music. This sixth instalment of the series will be with us later in 2022.
