Director of Photography of Episode IX, Dan Mindel has posted an image online of one heck of a lot of light bulbs, and lighting rigs as he gets stuck into his shoot of the next episode in the Skywalker saga.

In the below shot posted to his Instagram, Mindel described the scene as “Space lights ….unbeatable quality source of ambient lighting….6000 watts 6 lamps or 3000 watts 3 lamps!”

As things sit we will take every opportunity to see a little of the behind the scenes of the making of Episode IX as count down the days to December 2019.
