It’s been ten years since the first gathering of the UK R2 Builders, in the bitterly cold windtrap of the Milton Keynes Dons Football stadium back in 2010 and the club has travelled a tremendously long way since then, with events around the globe, team members working on the sequel and Star Wars Story films and even their own annual event.

We spoke to club member Lee Towersey recently over two episodes of Making Tracks about his time on set and as a member of the UK R2 Builders Club, which you can listen to below.

Fantha Tracks would like to wish everyone in the club well – we’re all looking forward to seeing you guys at future events – and here’s to many more years of astromech-in’ everybody happy.
