As Regal Robot roll out their superb 1:1 scale Archive Collection – Wampa Puppet Prop Replica, Adam savage gives us a closer look at Hoths most fearsome creature as well as giving some detail to how the ILM team shot the Wampa back in the day.

Adam unboxes the latest prop replica from Regal Robot’s Archive Collection: a recreation of the Wampa puppet used for close-up shots of the creature in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back! We learn how this puppet, designed by Phil Tippett, was created and filmed on set, and the painstaking efforts that went into recreating his gnarly visage.

Fantha Tracks head out to Hoth this week (aka Finse in Norway), so stay tuned for our wintery adventures on the site, socials, TV and podcasts.
